Paper Bag keeps this simple: we use the storage the app needs to work and nothing that follows you around the internet.

What we store on your device
- Session: an authentication token so you stay signed in between visits. Clearing it signs you out.
- Age gate: a local flag recording that you confirmed you are 21+, so you are not asked on every page.
- Cart: your cart contents so items survive a refresh.
- Preferences: small UI choices such as match filters and your last-used tab.
What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting pixels.
- No cross-site tracking cookies and no data brokers.
- No selling or sharing of browsing behavior.
Your control
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Because our storage is essential, clearing it signs you out, empties your cart and shows the age gate again — the app will not break.
Installing Paper Bag as an app on your phone or desktop uses the same storage rules as the browser version.
