Terms of Service

Paper Bag is strictly for adults 21 years or older in a place where adult cannabis use is legal. You confirm your age at the age gate and again in your profile.

• You must be at least 21 and legally allowed to view cannabis content where you are.
• One account per person. Accounts are personal and cannot be sold, shared or transferred.
• We may refuse, suspend or delete any account we reasonably believe belongs to a minor, a bot or a banned member.
• If we suspend an account for an age or safety reason, we do not owe an explanation of our internal signals.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your login, including anything a person you hand your device to does.

• Keep your password and sign-in link private; tell us right away if an account is compromised.
• Profile details must describe you truthfully — no impersonating another person, brand or dispensary.
• You can delete your account at any time from Profile, or by emailing support@paperbag.app.

Paper Bag exists for community, learning and planning. The Community Guidelines are part of these terms and the following are always prohibited:

• Selling, brokering, gifting or arranging any cannabis, cannabis product or other controlled substance between members.
• Any contact with, or content aimed at, people under 21.
• Harassment, hate speech, threats, stalking, doxxing or unwanted sexual content.
• Sexual content involving minors, non-consensual content, or content promoting self-harm — these result in an immediate permanent ban and, where required, a report to authorities.
• Scraping, reverse engineering, load testing, automated swiping, credential stuffing or bypassing the age gate, rate limits or paywalls.
• Uploading photos you do not own the rights to, or photos of other people who did not consent.
• Using Paper Bag to advertise, spam, recruit, run giveaways or drive traffic elsewhere without our written permission.

We may remove content, limit features, revoke matches, cancel orders or terminate an account at our discretion when these terms are broken, with or without prior notice.

You keep ownership of your photos, profile text, ratings, messages and reviews. To operate the app, you grant Paper Bag a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, resize, cache and display that content inside Paper Bag and to the members you share it with.

• The license lasts as long as the content is on the platform, plus a short technical window for backups and caches.
• You confirm you have the right to grant this license for everything you upload.
• Public-facing content such as strain ratings and reviews may remain visible in aggregate after your account is deleted, with your name removed.
• We may use anonymized, aggregated activity data to improve recommendations, safety systems and the strain library.

Puff Match, chat, voice calls and sesh planning connect you to real people. Paper Bag does not run criminal background checks or verify identity, and we are not a party to anything that happens off-platform.

• Meet in public first, tell a friend where you are going and trust your gut.
• Never share financial details, ID documents or your home address with a new match.
• Report unsafe behavior in-app or to support@paperbag.app; we investigate and can ban across the platform.
• You attend any sesh at your own risk. Hosts, not Paper Bag, are responsible for their venue and guests.

Chronic AI is an informational concierge built on third-party language models. Its answers are generated, can be wrong and are not medical, legal, dosing or professional advice.

• Do not rely on Chronic AI for medical decisions, drug interactions, pregnancy, driving or legal questions — talk to a licensed professional.
• Conversations are processed by our AI provider to generate a reply and may be retained by us for abuse prevention and quality review.
• Do not put sensitive personal, medical or financial details into a Chronic AI chat.
• We may cap usage, throttle requests or pause the feature to keep costs and abuse under control.

The Paper Bag store sells accessories, apparel and merch only — never cannabis or cannabis products. Full details are in the Store, Shipping & Returns policy, which is part of these terms.

• Prices, stock and images can change at any time; a listing is an invitation to order, not a binding offer.
• We may cancel and refund any order affected by a pricing error, stock error, suspected fraud or an address we cannot ship to.
• You are responsible for giving a correct shipping address and for any local duties or taxes.

Paper Bag is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features can change, move or be retired, and previews, betas and AI features may be unstable.

• We do not promise uninterrupted service, specific match volume, or that any member will reply to you.
• We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email, and continued use means you accept the new version.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Paper Bag disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or harm caused by another member.
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 100 USD.
• Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions — in that case they apply only as far as permitted.

You agree to cover Paper Bag's reasonable costs, losses and legal fees arising from your content, your conduct on or off the platform in connection with the app, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Let us try to fix it first: email support@paperbag.app and give us 30 days to resolve the issue informally. If that fails, claims are handled individually — you and Paper Bag both waive class actions and jury trials where that waiver is enforceable.

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's home jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
